PUBLIC NOTICE
GARDEN CITY MUNICIPAL ELECTION
Notice of Municipal Offices to be voted on in the Garden City Municipal General Election held on November 5, 2019:
- (2) Town Council Members - 4 year term each
Candidate filing period begins June 3, 2019 and ends June 7, 2019, during normal office hours. Declaration of Candidacy forms will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on June 7, 2019.
Declaration of Candidacy Forms or Nomination Petition must be filed in person with the Town Recorder at 69 N. Paradise Pkwy, Garden City, UT between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm.
Candidate must meet the following qualifications:
1. Be a United States Citizen at the time of filing.
2. Be at least 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
3. Be a legal resident of Garden City for 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the appointment.
4. Be a registered voter of the municipality.
5. Not be a convicted felon, unless the right to hold elective office has been restored.
Notice of Special Accommodations (ADA)
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this public hearing should notify the Garden City Office at (435) 946-2901, 69 N. Paradise Parkway, Garden City, Utah, on Monday through Friday, at least 3 working days prior to the public hearing. The office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
