TOQUERVILLE CITY SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE OF PUBLIC OFFICIALS TRAINING SESSION March 29, 2019 at 8:30 am - 2:00 pm The Heritage Town Square at 114 S Mill St. Virgin, Utah CITY OFFICIALS FROM THE TOWNS OF VIRGIN, ROCKVILLE, SPRINGDALE, TOQUERVILLE, AND NEW HARMONY WILL ATTEND A JOINT TRAINING SESSION ON FRIDAY MARCH 29, 2019 FROM 8:30 AM TO 2:00 PM AT THE HERITAGE TOWN SQUARE (114 S. MILL STREET VIRGIN UTAH) NO ACTIONS WILL BE TAKEN BY ANY OF THESE PUBLIC BODIES THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO ATTEND *non-official attendees must make arrangements for their own lunch* AGENDA 8:30 - 9:00 am: Breakfast & Welcome 9:00 - 9:45 am: Darci Carlson, Sprindale Town Clerk - Surviving Public Service - Tips to not only being an effective Public Servant but how to enjoy it at the same time. 9:45 - 10:00 am: Break 10:00 - 11:30 am: Gary Zabriskie; Nate Wiberg; Jordan Katcher - General Planning and Growth Impacts, Capital Improvement Planning, and Affordable Housing Planning 11:30 - 12:15 am: Lunch 12:15 - 1:00 pm: Cameron Diehl-Updates from the 2019 Legislative Session 1:00 - 2:00 pm: David Church - OPMA (Open & Public Meetings Act) & Ethics in Government 2:00 pm: Adjourn Meeting In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this meeting should notify Dana McKim at the City Office 435.635.1094, at least 48 hours in advance. This Agenda will be posted on the State website at http://pmn.utah.gov, posted on the Toquerville City website at www.toquerville.org, sent to the Spectrum Newspaper, and posted in four places at least 24 hours in advance of this meeting.
