- La Verkin City Council Meeting Agenda Wednesday, March 20, 2019 5:00 p.m. Council Chambers, 111 S. Main, La Verkin, Utah 5:00pm Work Meeting 1. FY 2019-2020 Budget A. 6:00pm Meeting Called to Order: Invocation by Invitation; Pledge of Allegiance B. Appointments: 1. Appointments to Boards, Commissions, and Committees C. Consent Agenda: (Items on the consent agenda may not require discussion. These items will be a single motion unless removed at the request of the Mayor or City Council.) 1. Declarations of conflict of interest 2. Review Invoices and Checks: $145,150.51 D. Committee Reports: Fire District, Sewer District, Planning Commission, Water Board E. Citizen Comment & Request for Future Agenda Items: No action may be taken on a matter raised under this agenda item. This item is reserved for the citizens of La Verkin who have items not listed on this agenda. There is a time limit of 20 minutes with each individual taking no more than 3 minutes. F. Business: 1. Discussion and possible action on the Capital Improvement Priority List. 2. Discussion and possible action to award the bid for the Main Street Safe Routes to Schools Project. 3. Discussion and possible action to approve a vehicle lease agreement for a Public Works vehicle. G. Mayor & Council Reports: Mayor Hirschi: Wilson: Mosquito Abatement, Public Works, Water, La Verkin Hot Springs Wise: Planning Commission/Zoning, Beautification/Trails Committee, Economic Development/Tourism Justice: Historical Preservation, Homeland Security/CERT, Confluence Park Gubler: Public Safety, Shooting Sports Park, Recreation/City Festival Reeve: Solid Waste, Sewer District H. Adjourn: In compliance with the American with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this meeting should notify Christy Ballard, City Recorder, (435) 635-2581, at least 48 hours in advance.
