City of West Jordan Notice of Public Hearing Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held in the West Jordan City Hall, 8000 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah, before the West Jordan City Council on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. to obtain citizen input on the use of Community Development Block Grant funds for FY 2019-2020 and approval of the FY2019-2020 Annual Action Plan. Proposals for use of the funds have been received and reviewed by the West Jordan CDBG/HOME committee in 3 public meetings. Any questions concerning this public hearing or persons wishing to review the initial requests submitted by each agency should contact Charles Tarver, CDBG Coordinator at 801-569-5062 or email at charles.tarver@westjordan.utah.gov . Written comments can be submitted to the email noted above addressing the proposed funding recommendations. In addition, comments will be received concerning the West Jordan 2015-2019 Five-Year Consolidated Plan, the FY 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan and updated Analysis of Impediments. The required citizen comment period will run from March 18, 2019 - April 24, 2019. The City of West Jordan provides accommodations, auxiliary communicative aids and non-English translation services for all those citizens in need of such assistance. Persons requesting these accommodations should call the City Clerk's office at 801-569-5115, giving her at least three working days notice. Persons with hearing disabilities should contact the City through the Utah Relay System at 711.
