The North Logan Planning Commission hereby announces a public hearing to be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019 in the Meeting Room at the North Logan City Library (475 East 2500 North, North Logan, UT).
6:45 p.m. Public Hearing to receive input on a proposed Ordinance amending the Land Use Code Section 12A-200 Definitions and 12C-1108 Site Development and Restrictions for Senior Housing by modifying certain sections to allow a change in the ratio of 'At least one person living as a permanent resident in each dwelling' from 100% of the units to 80% of the units 'that must be a Senior Resident, i.e. a resident at least 55 years of age'. Also adding that 'the remaining units (20% of the units) may be occupied by residents under the age of 55'.
6:55 p.m. Public Hearing to receive public input on what City Council and the City's Planning and Zoning Commission have determined a need and good cause to amend the City's land use ordinance to modify Chapters 12A-200 Definitions, 12C-512 Special Provisions For Conditional Use Permits For A Dog Kennel, and 12C-1001 Permitted and Conditional Uses in Zones to: Make changes to Dog and Cat Day Care, Pet Care & Boarding, and For Conditional Use Permits For A Dog Kennel.
Proposed ordinances may be reviewed at the City office (2076 N 1200E).
