Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Farr West City will hold two Public Hearings on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the City Hall. The meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the first Public Hearing is to discuss and/or act upon the intent of the legislative body to eliminate the M -2 Manufacturing Zone from the Farr West City Municipal Code The Purpose of the second Public Hearing is to discuss and/or act upon the intent of the legislative body to incorporate a Recycling Program in Farr West City and to add a $3.15/per month charge to resident’s utility billing. 1. Motion – Close Public Hearings and Proceed with the Regular Meeting 2. Public Comments 3. Follow-up and approval of Minutes dated December 1, 2010 4. Report from Planning Commission 5. Motion – Approval of Business Licenses – 2011 Renewals, Farr West Animal Hospital – Jeff Bailey, Venture Sales Group, Inc. – Al Haag, Equine Edge Veterinary Service – Tanya Bartlett 6. Motion – Approval of incorporating a Recycling Program in Farr West City and adding $3.15/per month to resident’s utility billing 7. Motion – Set a Public Hearing for Approval of Re-zone of Happy Day’s LTD property located at approximately 2375 W. North Plain City Rd from the A-1 Zone to the R-1-15 Zone 8. Special Presentation by Lance Peterson, Director of Weber County Emergency Management and Homeland Security 9. Motion – Approval of eliminating the M –2 Manufacturing Zone from the Farr West City Municipal Code 10. Motion – Re-Appoint Treasurer and Recorder 11. Motion – Confirm Date and Times of Council Meetings, First and Third Wednesday of the Month at 7:00 p.m. at Farr West City Hall, 1896 N. 1800 W., Farr West 12. Recreation Center Report – Mick Holmes 13. Discussion/Action – Ramp Grant Application 14. Yearly Council Assignments 15. Report from Council on Assignments 16. Approval of Bills 17. Adjournment
