Welcome and Introduction of Members and Guests 5:00 3 min Approval of the Minutes of the January 14, 2019 Meeting 5:03 2 min Public Comment 5:05 5 min Committee Announcements & Connections 5:10 10 min Foothill Trails Plan - Support for Adoption / Letters of Support for Grants 5:20 40 min Tyler Fonarow, SLC Trails & Natural Lands Please review the December Draft of the plan, available at https://www.slc.gov/Parks/TrailsPlan/ (scroll down to Documentation section) Substantial changes since the last time the BAC reviewed the plan include: - Modifications to trail alignments, notably to protect habitat in Upper Dry Creek. - Reduced phases from 4 to 3; updated cost estimates for construction & maintenance. Additional planned changes not yet incorporated: - Add section on surficial geology (thanks to BAC member Zach Anderson). - Minor formatting, graphics, and text changes for legibility. - Possibly add section on trailhead wayfinding. Possible Letters of Support: Plan itself, Utah Outdoor Recreation Grant, Recreational Trails Program Grant.
