- Public notice is hereby given that the South Salt Lake City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers located in City Hall at 220 East Morris Avenue on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 7:00 PM or as soon thereafter as possible for the purpose of receiving public comment on the following: A recommendation to the South Salt Lake City Council to amend the South Salt Lake General Plan, Zoning Code and Zoning map for the north 11.16 acres of the former Granite High School property located at approximately 3305 S. 500 E. Application is made by Wasatch Residential Group to amend the South Salt Lake General Plan Future Land Use Map from New Historical and School/Open Space to Master Planned Mixed Use, to create a new MPMU zone for the area and to amend the South Salt Lake Zoning Map from Residential R1 to Master Planned Mixed Use. The proposal includes 113 residential townhome units and a library. Notice is further given that the public is invited to attend and present oral and/or written testimony regarding this petition to the Department of Community Development. In compliance with Americans with disabilities act, individuals needing auxiliary communicative aids or other services for this meeting should contact Jeff Attermann at 801.412.3224, giving at least 24 hours notice.
