Description/Agenda

Tooele City Police Station Big-D Construction is soliciting bid proposals for the Tooele City Police Station. THIS IS A BIG-D PROJECT. This project will include construction of an approximate 23,500 S.F. single story main building and an approximate 3,100 S.F. single story ancillary building for Tooele Police Department. The building is a masonry and steel structure with brick veneer, ACM, Aluminum storefront, curtain wall, membrane roofing, metal joist and deck. Interior finishes include drywall, metal studs, ACT, ceramic tile, carpet, athletic flooring, specialty wood ceilings, operable partitions, phenolic lockers, flagpole, accessories, etc. This project will include a site of approximately 2 1/3 acres with an onsite storm chamber system, fencing, dumpster enclosure, site concrete, Hot-Mix asphalt, etc. Proposals are due on or before 12:00 noon on Thursday, February 21st, 2019. PLEASE NOTE: -HVAC and Plumbing were awarded under a previous solicitation. -All contractors proposing on this project, must adhere to Big-D's standard contracting requirements. These requirements are provided in the plan room folder entitled 'Big-D General Documents' -Geotechnical Study has been provided in the Appendix at the end of the project manual. -Anticipated construction start date: April 1st, 2019; Anticipated construction end date: March 1st, 2020 -All bidders must provide line item pricing as follows: 1) Site 2) Police Station Building 3) Ancillary Building Please direct all questions to Brennon Baker, per the contact information below.
