SALT LAKE CITY PLANNING DIVISION APPEALS HEARING AGENDA Thursday, February 21, 2019 5:00 p.m. City & County Building 451 S State Street, Room 326 Salt Lake City, Utah 84111 A public hearing will be held on the following matter. Comments from the Appellant, City Staff and the public will be taken. 1. Appeal of an Administrative Interpretation at approximately 675 E Second Avenue - Mitchell McAllister, property owner, is appealing Administrative Interpretation PLNZAD2018-00837. The Administrative Interpretation determined that the subject property is not a legal complying lot; and therefore, a new single-family home could not be constructed. The subject property is located in the SR-1A Special Development Pattern Residential zoning district and the Avenues Local Historic Overlay District. The subject property is located within Council District 3, represented by Chris Wharton. Variance to Construct a New Single-Family Dwelling at 802 W Fayette Avenue - Cameron Broadbent, property owner, is requesting a variance to construct a new single-family dwelling that does not comply with the required corner side yard setback. The subject property is located within the R-1/5000 Single-Family Residential zoning district, which requires a minimum corner side yard setback of ten feet. The Applicant is requesting the reduced setback due to the lot being narrow and in order to provide additional fire access. The subject property is located within Council District 2, represented by Andrew Johnston. The Appeals Hearing Officer reserves the right to change the order of agenda items as deemed necessary.
