VINEYARD PLANNING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL - PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Meeting Location: Vineyard City Hall, 125 S. Main Street, Vineyard, UT 84059 (Both Hearings)
Request: Ordinance 2019-01: The City of Vineyard is proposing a zoning text amendment to Chapter 15.34 Supplementary Development Standards to add Section 15.34.200 Driving Ranges. This new code section proposes allowances for golf safety netting height, standards for protection netting, requirements for site and building lighting and minimum buffering from residential uses.
Ordinance 2019-02: The City of Vineyard is proposing a zoning map amendment to the Vineyard Zoning Map. This notice proposes rezoning 9.05 acres of real property to Public Facility (PF) with Tax ID 17:023:0017 located on the north side 600 South Street. This property was recently annexed into Vineyard City from Lindon City and previously zoned Public Facility (PF) under the Lindon City Zoning Ordinance. Vineyard is proposing to utilize this property for a future Public Works Yard and Facility.
Materials: All documents, evidence and applicable code criteria are available for inspection at the Vineyard City Offices at no cost, or copies may be purchased for individual use. Written testimony submitted in advance of a public meeting is encouraged. During public hearings, the Planning Commission Chair or City Council reserves the right to limit the time allowed for oral testimony.

The start time for the public hearings listed above may begin later than posted due to agenda order and the nature of the discussion during the meeting. Any person having interest in this matter may attend and be heard during the public hearing. Written testimony may be submitted in writing at town hall or emailed to Elizabeth Hart at elizabeth@vineyardutah.org. Written comments shall be submitted at least seven days in advance of the meeting in order to be entered into the record.
