Larry Warburton - Parliamentary Procedures Parliamentary procedure includes the Agenda, Minutes, Reports, Unfinished Business, New Business, Announcements and Adjourn. Mr. Warburton commended us on the beginning of our meeting. Parliamentary procedure is designed to help our meetings run efficiently and most importantly fairly. It is important to remember that one issue is to be dealt with at a time, although items can be tabled if there is a motion to do so and approved. He reminded us that everyone has the right to speak and everyone has a right to vote. Chairman must remain impartial. We have a formal governing body at which we are held accountable. He advised us to 'never fear of doing it wrong, but to ask questions'. Suggested we look into our bylaws (making sure they are included in the Land Use Management Code Book).
