Description/Agenda: VIRGIN TOWN Corrected FINAL ELECTION RESULTS As of Nov. 28, 2018: Ordinance # 2018-09 (Prop. 21) Has OFFICIALLY PASSED. NO CHANGES. **************************************************** Ordinance # 2018-07 (Prop. 20) Was and still is a tie. NO CHANGES HERE. BUT.... PROP 20 actually FAILED per code � 20A-1-303 Effective 5/8/2018 20A-1-303. Determining results. (2) Any ballot proposition submitted to voters for their approval or rejection: (a) passes if the number of 'yes' votes is greater than the number of 'no' votes; and (b) fails if: (i) the number of 'yes' votes equal the number of 'no' votes; or (ii) the number of 'no' votes is greater than the number of 'yes' votes. Amended by Chapter 187, 2018 General Session *These are the FINAL and OFFICIAL RESULTS. With a tie in this manner the vote fails if the number of 'yes' votes equal the number of 'no' votes. Either side does have the right to request a recount at their own expense.*
