1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER. Chairman Klansey Bateman called the meeting to order at 4:35pm 2. ROLL CALL. Present: Chairman Klansey Bateman Vice Chairman Brandon Grossman Board Member Vrayen Soriano Board Member Mariah Murphy Board Member Cami Carter City Council Liaison Manuel Carrillo Secretary Devan Clevenger Audience: 3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. Pledge of allegiance was lead by Board Member Mariah Murphy 4. APPROVE OR AMEND THE MINUTES RECORDED FOR THE WENDOVER CITY PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING HELD ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 15TH, 2018. Motion made by Board Member Mariah Murphy, seconded by Board Member Vrayen Soriano to approve the minutes recorded for The Wendover City Planning and Zoning meeting held on Wednesday, August 15th, 2018. 5. APPROVE OR DENY POSSIBLE VARIANCE FOR ACCESSORY BUILDING AT 609 E 6TH STREET-EL JEFRE TIRES DISCUSSIONS/ DECISION After brief discussion, Motion made by Board Member Mariah Murphy to accept the structure where it sits with the stipulation the three sides remain open and to work with building inspector to get a building permit and receive approval for the building permit. Motion seconded by Vice Chairman Brandon Grossman. All in favor, motion passed. 6. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR SOLAR PANELS AT RESIDENTS 318 E UINTAH DISCUSSION/ DECISION Motion made by Chairman Klansey Bateman, seconded by Board Member Mariah Murphy to approve conditional use permit for solar panels at residents 318 E Uintah. All in favor, motion passed. 7. COUNCIL LIAISON MANUEL CARRILLO UPDATES AND MATTERS RELATED THERETO. None 8. UNFINISHED BUSINESS. Bonnie Jorgenson provided a new milar for commission to review. Planning Board agreed to hold public hearing on December 4th and a meeting shortly after to discuss the revisions. 9. NEW BUSINESS. Board member Mariah Murphy asked when is the general plan supposed to be revised. Secretary Devan Clevenger said she would have to look into it. Mariah also asked for status on the trailer's above Bonneville Motel. Devan replied she has been waiting to get the new City attorney on board to look into it more. Board Member Cami Carter asked who is responsible for the road to the trailer park. Mariah asked if there could be a way to receive an idea as to who was in charge of all of the right-a-ways. Commission discussed public safety issues including blocked alley ways and public road locations needing repairs. Carter added she would like to see the back gate taken down for the location of the trailer park above Bonneville motel to create easier access for fire trucks. Carter also mentioned to the board that the fire department will be going house to house and door to door and create a fire plans for each location within the city. Murphy asked that the issues be brought up to the council. Devan replied that she will ask for planning and zoning to be on the next agenda with city council. 10. COMMENTS FROM THE AUDIENCE. None 11. NEXT SCHEDULED PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 11TH, 2018 AT 4:30 P.M. Public hearing held on December 4th, followed by Planning and Zoning meeting on December 4th. 12. ADJOURNMENT. Motion made by Chairman Klansey Bateman, seconded by Board Member Mariah Murphy to adjourn the meeting. All in favor, motion passed.
