Amalga Planning and Zoning Meeting November 7, 2018 7:00 PM Visitors: Mike Houghton, Clayton Showell Present: Carl Sims (Acting Chair), Jason Munk, Brian Larsen, Committee Members. Howard Kunz, Town Board. Dave Lee, Secretary. Michelle Gittins, Town Treasurer. Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM 1. Minutes of October 3, 2018 read. Motion to approve-Jason Munk Second-Brian Larsen Motion Carried 2. Request from Mike Houghton for Zoning Clearance to construct a carport, 34' X 30' at 2505 W 6200 N. Also a shed, 16' X 18' approximately 50' from home and 30' feet from rear property line. Shed will be 6' from deeded property line on the east side. Motion to approve-Brian Larsen Second-Jason Munk Motion Carried 3. Request from Clayton Showell for Zoning Clearance for a shed 30' X 65' X 16' high at 2098 W Hwy 218. This building will have a metal frame with a fabric covering. Possibility of water and power in the future. Gravel floor. Motion to approve Brian Larsen Second-Jason Munk Motion Carried 4. Discussion with Clayton Showell about possible conditional uses attached to his business at 2098 W Hwy 218. Some of the items brought up were: Hours of operation-6:00 AM to possibly 10:00 PM were mentioned Noise levels were discussed. He will be using a generator in the new building. Vehicles parked in front of the home. Other issues discussed which were determined not to be in Planning and Zonings area, but involving county regulations were environmental issues: waste disposal, runoff, etc. Motion to adjourn-Brian Larsen Second-Jason Munk Motion Carried Meeting adjourned at 8:10 PM
