- AGENDA HUNTINGTON CITY COUNCIL MEETING November 14, 2018 Notice is hereby given that the Huntington City Council will hold its regularly scheduled council meeting November 14, 2018 at the city office building located at 20 South Main. Meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Agenda will be as follows: 6:30 p.m. Roll Call Opening Remarks Pledge of Allegiance 1. MOTION: Approval of October 17, 2018 City Council minutes 2. MOTION: Appointment of Vacant Mayor Position 3. Appointment of Oath of office 4. MOTION: Business License 5. MOTION: Fire Department quarterly allowance, approval of pay allocation schedule 6. MOTION: Resolution 14-2018 Emery County Pre-Disaster Hazard Mitigation Plan 2018 7. MOTION: Approval of contract with Rocky Mountain Power/power for speed sign on SR10 8. Discussion on Setting an annual dollar limit for newspaper sponsor adds 9. Discussion on the Youth City Council program 10. MOTION: Approval or changes to Huntington City Code Title 4 11. MOTION: Resolution 15-2018 Annual meeting schedule 12. MOTION: Food Bank using Town Hall for free tax service 2 times a month - Ronni 13. MOTION: Changing City cellular service - Ronni 14. City Claims and Review of Financials Adjournment Notice Provisions: Motions relating to any of the foregoing including final action may be taken at the meeting. The order of agenda items may change to accommodate the needs of the City Council, the staff, and the public. CERTIFICATE OF POSTING The undersigned, duly appointed City Recorder, does hereby certify that the above notice and agenda were posted in three public places within the Huntington City limits. These public places being 1) Huntington City Hall; 2) Desertview Federal Credit Union; and 3) the U.S. Post Office. The public is invited to attend all city council meetings.
