- 47 East 200 North, St. George, Utah 84770 Phone: 435.627.4525 Fax: 435.627.4526 St. George Art Museum Advisory Board AGENDA November 14, at 8:00am at the St. George Art Museum Next meeting is on December 19th, 2018, at 8am Officers are: Twila Abrams, Chair; Vice-Chair; CALL TO ORDER: Twila Abrams MINUTES Approval of the minutes from September 19, 2018 REPORTS: Kam on the Arts Commission NEW BUSINESS: Accept Linda Sappington's resignation Welcome new staff: Cheryl Terry, Education Specialist; Mattie Larson, Special Projects; & soon to be a new Front Desk staff as Jan Benson has moved up north. OLD BUSINESS: OTHER: Need new members MUSEUM REPORT 11/9 New Exhibits Open to Museum Members from 6 to 8pm @70 11/10 Annual Fashion Show at 1pm (11 teams) 11/15 Art Convo at 7pm w/ Rob Perkins on Paper Trail 12/21 Winter Solstice (Light the Night) from 5:30 to 8:30 & the St. George Opera at 6:30 for $10 - WILL NEED HELP setting up & taking down luminaries MISSION STATEMENT The mission of the St. George Art Museum is to educate all visitors through quality exhibitions from all periods, cultures, and media, as well as to collect, conserve, inventory, exhibit and interpret art and artifacts from Utah and the West. REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION The City of St. George will make efforts to provide reasonable accommodations to disabled members of the public in accessing City programs.
