La Verkin City Council Meeting Agenda Wednesday, November 7, 2018 6:00 p.m. Council Chambers, 111 S. Main, La Verkin, Utah A. Meeting Called to Order: Invocation by Invitation; Pledge of Allegiance B. Consent Agenda: (Items on the consent agenda may not require discussion. These items will be a single motion unless removed at the request of the Mayor or City Council.) 1. Declarations of conflict of interest 2. Minutes: October 17, 2018 regular meeting minutes. 3. Review Invoices and Checks: $151,483.19 C. Committee Reports: Fire District, Sewer Board, Planning Commission, Water Board D. Citizen Comment & Request for Future Agenda Items: No action may be taken on a matter raised under this agenda item. This item is reserved for the citizens of La Verkin who have items not listed on this agenda. There is a time limit of 20 minutes with each individual taking no more than three minutes. E. Business: 1. Discussion and possible action to approve the 2018 La Verkin City General Plan. 2. Discussion and possible action to approve the La Verkin City Master Transportation Plan. 3. Discussion and possible action on the proposed LANTIS Merchandise (Fireworks) Contract and Purchase Order for fireworks to be discharged at the City's Winterfest celebration. 4. Discussion and possible action to approve a JAG Grant application to the Utah Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice (CCJJ) and authorize the Mayor, City Attorney and Police Chief to sign the application and certifications. 5. Discussion and possible action to approve a vehicle lease for Animal Control. F.
