- MONROE CITY NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE 11-01-2018 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE 11-02-2002 MONROE CITY ANIMAL CONTROL ORDINANCE. MODIFICATION OF THE ORDINANCE IS TO IMPROVE MANAGEMENT, CONTROL AND LAW ENFORCEMENT OF ANIMALS LIVING WITHIN MONROE CITY. Notice is hereby given that the Monroe City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the Monroe City Hall, 10 N, Main Street, Monroe, Utah. The hearing will begin at approximately 7:45 p.m. The public is invited to attend, and comments are welcomed. The hearing will be held to repeal Ordinance 11-02-2002 Monroe City Animal Control Ordinance and adopt Ordinance 11-01-2018, Monroe City Animal Control Ordinance. This ordinance will contain rules limiting number of dogs allowed per household, type of animals allowed within Monroe City, and specific language regarding law enforcement procedures. Copies of the complete ordinance are on file in the office of the city recorder, 10 North Main Street, Monroe, Utah during normal business hours.
