AGENDA Mapleton City Council Meeting Wednesday, November 7, 2018 Regular Session at 7:00 p.m. Mapleton City Council Chambers, 125 West 400 North, Mapleton, Utah 84664 CALL TO ORDER-INVOCATION- PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE ---- MAYOR'S COMMENTS PUBLIC FORUM: Members of the audience may bring to the attention of the Mayor and Council any item that is not on the agenda. Please sign in. Speakers are generally given two to three minutes, at the discretion of the Mayor, to address the Council. State law prohibits the Council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda. The Mayor reserves the right to amend the order of the agenda items and to delete items no longer required for consideration. OATH OF OFFICE: Administration of the Oath of Office to Fire Chief Nicholas Glasgow APPROVAL OF MINUTES: 1. Approval of City Council meeting minutes- October 10, 2018 2. Approval of City Council meeting minutes- October 16, 2018 PUBLIC HEARING ITEM: 3. Consideration of a request to amend Mapleton City Code Chapter 18.28.040 related to the requirements for equestrian and reception centers in the Agricultural Residential (A-2) Zone and preliminary consideration of a Conditional Use Permit to establish the Mapleton Horse Therapy Facility on a 10.28-acre parcel at approximately 1900 North 2000 East. Consideration of a Resolution amending the conditions of approval for the Maple Bench Estates Subdivision located generally at 2000 E Maple Street in the RA-1 and CE-1 zones Sean Conroy, Community Development Director 5. Consideration of a resolution approving the Preliminary Plat for the Maple Hills Estates, Plat 'A' Subdivision consisting of 26 lots located generally at 2000 East and 900 North in the A-2 zone with the TDR-R overlay. Sean Conroy, Community Development Director 6. Consideration of a Resolution authorizing the Public Works Director to purchase a new CAT Model 420F2 E Backhoe Loader. Consideration of a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between Mapleton City and the Utah Lake Commission.
