NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PUBLIC HEARING TO DISCUSS VACATING A SEWER LINE EASEMENT The Santa Clara City Council will hold a Public Hearing at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 14, 2018 in the City Council Chambers of the Town Hall located at 2603 Santa Clara Dr., Santa Clara, UT. 84765. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive public input to Vacate a Sewer Line Easement within Ocotillo Springs Development located east of 400 East and South of North Town Road. The existing sewer easement will be relocated within a public street. Legal Description: An abandonment of a portion of a 30 foot sewer line easement as recorded as Entry No. 00376415 at the Washington County Recorder's Office, said abandonment being in Block 30 of the St. George and Santa Clara Irrigation Bench Survey, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point being North 89°26'54' East 263.47 feet along the section line from North Quarter Corner of Section 8, Township 42 South, Range 16 West, Salt Lake Base & Meridian, and running; thence North 89°26'54' East 47.91 feet along said section line; thence South 51°46'46' East 378.91 feet to the westerly line of Hamblin Drive; thence Southerly 36.73 feet along an arc of a 606.00 foot radius curve to the right (center bears North 88°44'08' West, long chord bears South 03°00'02' West 36.72 feet with a central angle of 03°28'21') along said westerly line of Hamblin Drive; thence North 51°46'46' West 437.44 feet to the Point of Beginning. Citizens of Santa Clara are encouraged to attend the hearing where they will be given the opportunity to express any concerns they may have with the proposed action. In compliance with the American with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary Communicative aids and services) during this hearing should notify the City Recorder, Chris Shelley at 673-6712 ext.203 at least 24 hours prior to the hearing.
