Welcome and Introductions Carrie Mayne
Motion carried to approve minutes.
We will have one more meeting before the legislative session. After that, meetings will be held quarterly. If one-on-one meetings are necessary in-between, we are happy to accommodate those requests.
The MOU for the Department of Health is moving forward. The last draft can serve as a template.
P20 was presented and published on October 17, 2018 to the Education Interim Committee.
Phase III will include the key metrics which we hope to have by December.
Britnee Johnston has joined our team as a data communications coordinator. Natalie Torosyan will be leaving our team on November 2, 2018. Skylar Scott will be moving from data communications coordinator to researcher. Ryan Burton is our new project manager and Manjusha Gunter is the new back-end developer. We also have an opening for a front-end developer.
Due to the change in DTS hierarchy, we will be delayed about a month. We have a target date of a year from this month to finish Phase III.
The team is currently working on the Application Wizard and it is almost completed.
Phase III will be completed when we have the UDRC Application Dashboard and the Data Delivery System finished.
No new research has been released. The next project will be to research the effect of students working and going to school at the same time. Allison will be the researcher spearheading this project.
Next meeting: Before the legislative session begins. Gail will send out a Doodle Poll.
Meeting adjourned.
Minutes were approved.
Kimberly noted that Spencer would be interested in a one-on-one meeting for Launch My Career. We will reach out to Spencer.
We have bi-weekly calls with Health and should have a draft soon.
November 2018 patch: CSS Gridding (adaptive design), expanded epilogue, and reactive graphing.
Phase III will include the undefined metrics. If your agency is affected by these, we urge you to define them.
We now have an open position for a data communications coordinator. If you know anyone who may be interested, please send them our way.
Since we will have both front-end and back-end developers, we are hoping the delay may not happen.
For the upcoming Research Agenda, we would like each of you to have a meaningful conversation with your depart-ments about research subjects you would want UDRC to tackle. What questions would you like answered? You have about 3 months to complete this.
