The purpose of the work session includes presentations and discussions regarding:
- Agenda review for the City Council meeting;
- Council/Mayor Discussion;
- Ogden School District Bond;
- Mt. Lewis Community Plan amendment and rezone of property at 424 North Washington Boulevard;
- Mountain View Community Plan amendment and rezone of property at 18th Street and Washington Boulevard;
- Council business; and
- Council comments.
Any items not fully addressed prior to the City Council meeting,
which begins at 6:00 p.m., may be addressed immediately following that meeting.

1. Roll Call.
2. Pledge of Allegiance.
3. Moment of Silence.
4. Recognitions:
a. Waldo and Weber State University Spirit Squad. Recognizing Weber State's Cheer Team, Dance Team, and mascot Waldo the Wildcat for their 2018 National Championships in their respective categories. (No action required)
5. Common Consent: (Voice vote)
a. Ogden School District School Bond. Proposed Joint Resolution 2018-1 supporting the 2018 Ogden School Bond. (Adopt joint resolution)
6. Report from Planning Commission:
a. Residential Parking Ordinance Amendments. Proposed Ordinance 2018-28 amending the Ogden Municipal Code regarding parking surfaces and design for residential properties. (Receive input; adopt/not adopt ordinance - roll call vote)
7. Public Hearing:
a. Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Arts Grants. Proposed Resolution 2018-17 awarding arts grants for FY2018-2019 and setting forth findings pursuant to Utah Code Annotated ยง 10-8-2 (2002) (Adopt/not adopt resolution - roll call vote)
8. New Business:
a. Council Rules and Norms Revisions. Proposed Resolution 2018-18 adopting City Council rules and norms. (Adopt/not adopt resolution - roll call vote)
9. Public Comments. This is an opportunity to address the Council regarding concerns or ideas on any topic. To be considerate of everyone at this meeting, public comment will be limited to three minutes per person. Participants are to state their name for the record. Comments, which cannot be made within these limits, should be submitted in writing to the City Council Office (citycouncil@ogdencity.com).
The Council encourages civil discourse for everyone who participates in our meetings. Comments pertaining to an agenda item that includes a public hearing or public input should be given during the meeting as that item is discussed.
