NOTICE OF INTENT TO ANNEX On October 9, 2018, the City Council of American Fork, Utah, adopted Resolution No. 2018-10-36R, indicating its intent to annex the following described real property: AF21 Annexation Plat 'A' (850 West 500 South) BEGINNING AT A POINT WHICH IS N00o01'56'E 935.73 FEET FROM THE SOUTH QUARTER CORNER OF SECTION 22, TOWNSHIP 5 SOUTH, RANGE 1 EAST, SALT LAKE BASE AND MERIDIAN; THENCE WEST 370.93 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 00o00'09' WEST 301.88 FEET; THENCE ALONG THE EXISTING AMERICAN FORK CITY BOUNDARY THE FOLLOWING COURSE: 1)NORTH 89o01'56' WEST 179.18 FEET ALONG THE DIXIE FENN AMERICAN FORK ANNEXATION, THENCE NORTH 36o43'18' WEST 22.23 FEET; THENCE NORTH 01o08'01' EAST 582.60 FEET; THENCE EAST 38.62 FEET; THENCE NORTH 00o00'28' EAST 1335.09 FEET; THENCE ALONG THE EXISTING AMERICAN FORK CITY BOUNDARY THE FOLLOWING COURSE: 1)SOUTH 89o22'15' EAST 510.34 FEET ALONG THE 7750 NORTH ANNEXATION, THENCE ALONG THE EXISTING AMERICAN FORK CITY BOUNDARY THE FOLLOWING THREE (3) COURSES: 1)SOUTH 01o00'42' WEST 454.84 FEET ALONG THE HOLINDRAKE AND BIRD ANNEXATION, 2)SOUTH 01o30'57' WEST 369.82 FEET ALONG THE HOLINDRAKE AND BIRD ANNEXATIN, AND 3)SOUTH 89o05'07' EAST 27.24 FEET ALONG THE HOLINDRAKE AND BIRD ANNEXATION THENCE SOUTH 00o00'06' EAST 651.40 FEET; THENCE WEST 6.69 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 154.64 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. ANNEXATION PARCEL CONTAINING 903,288 SF OR 20.74 ACRES. BASIS OF BEARING: NORTH 89o52'20' EAST ALONG THE SECTION LINE BETWEEN THE SOUTHEAST AND SOUTH QUARTER CORNER OF SAID SECTION. Notice is hereby given that the American Fork City Council will hold a public hearing in conjunction with the regular session on November 13, 2018, at 7:25 p.m. in the American Fork City Hall, 31 North Church Street, for the purpose of receiving public comment regarding the proposed annexation. The City Council will act to annex the above described real property unless, at or before the public hearing, written protests to the annexation are filed by the owners of real property in accordance with applicable provisions of UCA 10-2-418. Copies of a map showing the location of the annexation area are available for review by the public at the City Recorders Office, 51 East Main Street, during normal business hours.
