October 11, 2018 PLANNING COMMISSION AMENDED AGENDA The Pleasant Grove City Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Recreation Center, 547 S Locust Ave, Pleasant Grove, Utah. The Work Session will be held from 6:30 - 7:00 p.m. at the same location. Work Sessions are public meetings; however, no testimony will be heard and no official actions will be taken on items discussed during the work session. Although the public is invited to attend all sessions, public comments are accepted only during the regular business session. 6:30 p.m. Work Session (to consider the following items): (a) Commission Business (b) Staff Business 7:00 p.m. Regular Session: Commission Business: a. Pledge of Allegiance and Opening Remarks b. Agenda Approval c. Staff Reports d. Declaration of conflicts and abstentions from commission members 1. Public Hearing: Conditional Use Permit - Located at 868 W 4230 N (Manila Neighborhood) Public Hearing to consider the request of Brad Slater for a conditional use permit to allow a major home occupation for a skincare business on property located at 868 West 4230 North in the R-R (Rural Residential) Zone. 2. Public Hearing: Conditional Use Permit - Located at 312 E 1700 N (Big Spring Neighborhood) Public Hearing to consider the request of Jason Fox for a conditional use permit to allow an accessory structure, with a footprint exceeding 1,200 square feet, on property located at 312 East 1700 North in the R1-12 (Single-family Residential) Zone. (Please note that this item will be continued to the October 25, 2018 meeting) 3. Public Hearing: Conditional Use Permit - Located at 312 E 1700 N (Big Spring Neighborhood) Public Hearing to consider the request of Jason Fox for a conditional use permit to allow an accessory structure, with a height greater than 18 feet, on property located at 312 East 1700 North in the R1-12 (Single-family Residential) Zone. (Please note that this item will be continued to the October 25, 2018 meeting) 4. Public Hearing: Preliminary Subdivision Plat - Located at Approx. 328 W 2600 N (Sam White's Lane Neighborhood) Public Hearing to consider the request of David Gibb for a two-lot preliminary subdivision plat called Manila Hills Subdivision Plat 'B' on property located at approximately 328 West 2600 North in the R-R (Rural Residential) Zone. 5. Public Hearing: City Code Amendment - Chapter 12: Manufacturing Distribution Zone (Sam White's Lane) Public Hearing to consider the request of Matthew Eau Claire to add four new conditional uses (#2181, 2182, 2183 and 2184) to the Manufacturing Distribution (MD) Zone to allow manufacturing of a variety of beer and liquor products. (Please note that this item was continued from 9/27/2018) Review and approve the minutes from and September 27, 2018 Planning Commission Meeting and the amended minutes from August 23, 2018 Planning Commission Meeting.
