FINAL NOTICE
Requests for Arguments FOR or AGAINST Virgin Proposition Nos. 20 & 21
This is a final notice that all interested persons who are residents of the Town and a registered voter are requested to submit to the Virgin Town Clerk at the Virgin Town Hall, 114 South Mill Street, Virgin, Utah or via e-mail clerk@virgin.utah.gov a written argument FOR or AGAINST Virgin Proposition Nos. 20 and 21 (one or both) in a format compliant with Utah Code Ann. § 20A-7-402(2). All arguments FOR or AGAINST Virgin Proposition Nos. 20 & 21 must be submitted to the Virgin Town Clerk in person, mail or via e-mail by no later than the close of business at the Virgin Town Hall (2:00 pm) on Monday, September 10, 2018. Please note that arguments FOR or AGAINST would normally be due Friday September 7, 2018 (60 days in advance of the November 6, 2018 Election), but because the Town is not open for business on Fridays, this deadline has been extended thru the end of the next business day. Please note that pursuant to Utah Code Ann. § 20A-7-402(2) if an argument is received by the Referendum Sponsors of Virgin Referendum Nos. 20 and 21 2018-1 & 2018-2 that argument must be chosen as the FOR argument by the Virgin Town Clerk (acting in her capacity as the Election Officer). Similar priority is given to arguments submitted AGAINST Virgin Proposition Nos. 20 or 21 by the Virgin Town Council or members thereof.
