Elsinore Town Planning and Land Use Commission August 30, 2018 This meeting of the Elsinore Town Planning and Land Use Commission was held Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Elsinore Town Hall, 35 West Main Street, Elsinore, UT at the hour of 7:00 p.m., after due and timely notice had been provided pursuant to Section 52-4-6 UCA, 1953, as amended. Meeting began at 7:00. ATTENDING: Chairman Ken Jensen, Council member Dan Jacobson, Shiree Johnson, Brian Scott, Brent Salisbury, Secretary Jennica Scott ABSENT: Libbie Zenger COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE: Grant Huntsman, Beverly Huntsman, Kendal Sorenson, Pam Sorenson and their son. Chairman Jensen called the meeting to order and asked if any changes needed to be made to the minutes from the April meeting. No changes were necessary. Brian Scott made a motion to approve the April 2018 minutes. Ken Jensen made a second to the motion. All voted aye. Motion carried. Grant Huntsman had a building permit for a dwelling at 400 North 145 East. The permit was approved and signed by Ken Jensen and Shiree Johnson. Kendal Sorenson would like to divide their property split between themselves and his father. They live in the county and are within Elsinore Town sphere of influence. D Land title sent them to get an approval and a copy of the approved minutes. Brian Scott made a motion to approve, Shiree seconded it, all voted aye. Motion carried. Pam Sorenson will return to get a copy of the minutes. Rich Garcia would like to open a handyman business called 'Rich's Remodeling'. The business is a home occupation located at 357 S. Center Street. The business license was approved. Brent Salisbury has replaced Kelly Carter as a commissioner. Next meeting the commissioners would like to discuss new flood plain information. Brent Salisbury made a motion to adjourn at 7:50. Scott made a second to the motion. Motion carried.
