Notice is hereby given that the Pleasant Grove Library Board will hold a regular public meeting at 7pm on Thursday, September 6, 2018 in the City Hall basement located at 70 South 100 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah. Conducting: Koni Smith Secretary: Roslyn Wilson Starting Time: 7:00pm Welcome Public In Attendance: Ben Tullis, Koni Smith, Kati Atwood, Roselyn Wilson, Corinne Boren, Emily Hammerstad, Sheri Britsch, Taylor Anderson, Alecia Bales, Melanie Tucker Excused: Review and Approve Minutes for July Open Session - Public City Business - Cyd LeMone Chairperson's Business - Approve/revise/create yearly calendar for board responsibilities by month - New board members Committee assignments - Bylaws review (Cyd's request) Director's Business - Sheri Britsch 1. Discussion and vote on revised library card application form. 2. Discussion and vote on age restrictions for public computer use in adult section of library. Policy will say, 'Computers in this section are for ages 18+. Exceptions will be at the discretion of the librarians.' 3. Discussion and vote on making adult section of library a 'quiet zone.' Committee Reports 1. Policy and Governance - 5-9 members, 1 non-voting city council member 2. Education - 3. Public Relations - 4. Fundraising - How is this going Emily and Corinne?
