Holladay Tree Committee September 6, 2018 - 4pm Holladay City Hall Agenda I. Introductions/Attendees: Regrets: II. Review Actions/Assignments and Activity from Prior Month: - Dennis - Edit article for September on tree planting to include ways to solicit help from tree committee for recommendations. - Francoise - send what you have already prepared to Travis.(see attached) - Travis - Planting tree article for run in October journal. - Kim - Met with Ivory about accessing property to do clean up along river trees.(denied) - Carolyn - Contact police dept/court system about community service help. - All - Game plan for where we can plant a tree this fall. - All - Send suggestions for a tree pamphlet to Travis. - DeeDee - Add a 'how to plant tree' brochure with new tree vouchers being issued. - Travis - Add 9-year Tree City USA sticker to sign at Knudsen's Corner. - DeeDee - Street tree list dispersed to committee for site visits. - Steve - Street Tree Ordinance update. - All - Permeable Pavement workshop feedback? III. Upcoming Events: - Tree Voucher follow up site visits in lieu of meeting - Fall Tree Planting Event IV. Assignments: - V. Ongoing Projects that need continued volunteer help: - Social Media relations - Facebook & Email management - Voucher program volunteers - verification/documentation/issuance VI.
