Notice is hereby given that the City of Lindon Utah is accepting sealed bids in response to RFB 2018-010; Lindon City Offices Elevator Installation and Construction. Bids will be accepted from qualified contractors only. The location of the project will be at Lindon City Offices, 100 North State Street, Lindon, Utah 84042. The project includes installation of a new elevator and remodeling of the areas around the new elevator.
There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid meeting held at Lindon City Offices on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. MST. All contractors wishing to submit a bid for this project must attend this meeting and sign the roll. Lindon City will not open or consider any bid submitted from any firm whose name is not on the meeting role.
This project is partially funded through a Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The awarded contractor will be required to comply with all Federal labor standards, and attendant laws including payment of the most current Davis-Bacon wages, and comply with Section 3 to provide employment opportunities to lower income persons. Local, minority owned, and female owned businesses are encouraged to bid. The lowest responsible bidder will be considered for the project.

Lindon City reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any informality in a bid, to not publicly read or consider any incomplete or partial bid, and to make award, or refuse to make award as deemed to be in the best interests of the City.
