NOTICE OF INTENT TO ANNEX On August 14, 2018, the City Council of American Fork, Utah, adopted Resolution No. 2018-08-31R, indicating its intent to annex the following described real property: Apex Land & Cattle Addition (1360 North 200 East) BEGINNING AT A POINT ON THE SOUTHERLY ANNEXATION LINE OF THE RACKMAN ADDITION AS SHOWN AND DESCRIBED ON THE OFFICIAL PLAT THEREOF ON FILE AT THE OFFICE OF THE UTAH COUNTY RECORDER AS ENTRY 47060:1994, MAP NO. 5561, WHICH POINT IS SOUTH 00o01'21' EAST 934.24 FEET ALONG THE SECTION LINE AND EAST 249.03 FEET FROM THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SECTION 12, TOWNSHIP 5 SOUTH, RANGE 1 EAST, SALT LAKE BASE AND MERIDIAN; THENCE EAST ALONG SAID SOUTHERLY ANNEXATION LINE 207.10 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO A POINT ON THE WESTERLY ANNEXATION LINE OF THE GOLF COURSE ANNEXATION AS SHOWN AND DESCRIBED ON THE OFFICIAL PLAT THEREOF ON FILE AT THE OFFICE OF THE UTAH COUNTY RECORDER AS ENTRY 21333:1977, MAP NO. 1809-5; THENCE SOUTH 17o59'48' WEST ALONG SAID WESTERLY ANNEXATION LINE 99.02 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO A POINT ON THE NORTERLY ANNEXATION LINE OF THE ALLMAN ADDITION AS SHOWN AND DESCRIBED ON THE OFFICIAL PLAT THEREOF ON FILE AT THE OFFICE OF THE UTAH COUNTY RECORDER AS ENTRY 24886:1994, MAP NO. 5432; THENCE NORTH 89o16'35' WEST ALONG SAID NORTHERLY ANNEXATION LINE 188.38 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO A POINT ON THE WESTERLY BOUNDARY OF THT CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND DESCRIBED IN WARRANTY DEED ENTRY 2197:2005 ON FILE AT THE OFFICE OF THE UTAH COUNTY RECORDER; THENCE NORTH 07o21'41' EAST ALONG SAID WESTERLY BOUNDARY LINE 92.56 FEET, MORE OR LESS TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. THE ABOVE DESCRIBED ANNEXATION BOUNDARY CONTAINS 18,412 SQUARE FEET OR 0.423 ACRE IN AREA, MORE OR LESS. BASIS OF BEARING = SOUTH 00o01'21' EAST ALONG THE LINE BETWEEN THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SECTION 12, TOWNSHIP 5 SOUTH RANGE 1 EAST, SALT LAKE BASE AND MERIDIAN AND THE WEST QUARTER CORNER OF SAID SECTION. Notice is hereby given that the American Fork City Council will hold a public hearing in conjunction with the regular session on September 25, 2018, at 7:30 p.m. in the American Fork City Hall, 31 North Church Street, for the purpose of receiving public comment regarding the proposed annexation. The City Council will act to annex the above described real property unless, at or before the public hearing, written protests to the annexation are filed by the owners of real property in accordance with applicable provisions of UCA 10-2-418. Copies of a map showing the location of the annexation area are available for review by the public at the City Recorders Office, 51 East Main Street, during normal business hours.
