NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Moroni City Council will hold consecutive Public Hearings along with the City Council meeting on Thursday, August 16, 2018 beginning at 7:00 p.m. These meetings will be held at the Moroni City Community Center, 80 South 200 West. The agenda is as follows: 1. 7:00 p.m. Welcome - Motion to start meeting - Roll call 2. 7:03 p.m. Public Hearing to receive public comment regarding the following proposed Ordinances/Amendments: - Animal Keeping: Proposed amendment to 10-4A-2, removing the current vague language and adding specifics on animal keeping, per type, within the city limits - Subdivisions: Proposed amendment to 10-4B, seeking to create an addition for simple subdivisions within the city - Use and storage of travel trailers, boats and boat trailers: Proposed amendment to 10-7-5 for the placement and storage of the mentioned items. - Supplementary Development Standard, Abandoned, Wrecked or Junked Vehicles: Proposed amendment to 10-7-6, modification to existing ordinance to add clarification and enforcement on the placement and use of abandoned, wrecked and junked vehicles in the city. - Bees Ordinance: Proposed ordinance for Bee Keeping within the city limits - Storage Container Use: Proposed ordinance on the placement and maintenance; used for their defined purpose only (storage) and not for other uses (i.e. dwellings, etc) - Moroni City General Plan: Moroni City General Zoning plan exists to define the present and future needs of Moroni City as it relates to the city itself, its citizens and the growth and development of all or any part of the land within the municipality. - Annexation Policy Plan and application: Moroni City plan for property annexation for the city. This plan is an addition the Moroni City General Plan. 3. 7:20 p.m. Motion: Proposed approval of amending Ordinance 10-4A-2 Animal Keeping; removing the current vague language and adding specifics on animal keeping, per type, within the city limits. Motion: Proposed approval of amending Ordinance 10-4B Subdivisions; creating an addition for simple subdivisions with the city. Motion: Proposed approval of amending Ordinance 10-7-5 Use and storage of travel trailers, boats and boat trailers; the placement and storage of the mentioned items.
