- PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that a petition for annexation has been filed with Spanish Fork City, which petition has been certified as of the 7th day of August, 2018, which petition covers approximately 3.85 acres consisting of property owned by Neil F. & Patricia Sorensen (parcel 25:027:0056); Vee F. & Vicki H. Hanks (parcel 27:041:0005); Carol C. Berrett (parcel 25:027:0019), located at approximately 1225 South Main Street, Spanish Fork District. The complete petition and accompanying map are available for inspection and copying at the Spanish Fork City Office, located at 40 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah. Spanish Fork City may grant the petition unless a written protest is filed with Spanish Fork City and the Utah County Boundary Commission. This is developed property covering an area less than 5 percent of the total land mass of all private and real property within the City. Any protest must be received by Spanish Fork City and the Boundary Commission on or before October 2, 2018. Any protest should be filed with Spanish Fork City at 40 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660, and to the Utah County Boundary Commission, Attn: Randall Covington, PO Box 122, Provo, Utah 84603. Those entitled to protest must be the legislative body or governing board of an affected entity.
