PUBLIC NOTICE OF A MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLEASANT VIEW CITY, UTAH August 14, 2018 Public Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Pleasant View, Utah will hold a Public Meeting in the city office at 520 West Elberta Dr. in Pleasant View, Utah on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, commencing at 6:00 PM. The agenda consists of the following: Pledge of Allegiance: Steve Gibson Opening Prayer, Reading or Expression of Thought: Steve Gibson Declaration of Conflicts of Interest Comments/Questions for the Mayor & Council (public) Consent: -Minutes of July 10, 2018 -Bills of Pleasant View City Business: 6:10 P.M. 1. PUBLIC HEARING. Discussion and possible action to consider an amendment to the City's Subdivision Ordinance (Title 17), changing subsection 17.18.020(7) 'Half Streets' to allow for the construction of half streets in certain circumstances. (Presenter: Bill Cobabe) 6:40 P.M. 2. Discussion and possible action on allowing water slides at Barker Park. (Presenter: Bill Cobabe) 7:00 P.M. 3. Discussion and possible action to approve the purchase two public works pickup trucks, two utility pickup trucks, and a valve exerciser/vacuum. (Presenter: Tyson Jackson) 7:25 P.M. 4. Discussion and possible action to amend the Employment Agreement with Bill Cobabe, City Administrator. (Presenter: Mayor Call). 7:30 P.M. 5. Closed Meeting for a discussion regarding security systems. 8:00 P.M. 6. Closed Meeting for a discussion regarding strategy session to discuss the purchase and exchange of real property. 8:30 P.M. 7. Discussion and possible action from the closed meeting. Other Business Adjournment The City Council at their discretion may change the order and times of the agenda items.
