Town Of Portage Council Meeting Wednesday August 8, 2018 25880 N 9000 W 6:00 PM Agenda Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of Portage will hold its regular Town Council meeting on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Portage Town Hall located at 25880 N 9000 W, which meeting shall begin promptly at 6:00 PM. The Agenda shall be as follows: 6:00 PM Call to Order Opening Ceremony: 1.Review and Approval of minutes from July 11 2018 Town Council Meeting. 2.Review and Approval of July 11, 2018 to August 8, 2018 Bills/Payroll. a)Approval on Scott Archibald bill (Sunrise Engineering). 3.Review Financial Report, Bank Reconciliations and Water adjustments or write-offs. 4.Discussion/decisions on Town tree maintenance/trimming. 5.Discussion and decision 'Portage 40 Year Water Plan'. 6.Discussion and decision on filling the Town Clerk Vacancy and payroll. Public Comment: This is an opportunity for the public to address the Council. Please limit your comments to three minutes. Review of Departments: 7.Water - Council Member Nelson a)Appoint water meter reader to finish out year. b)Discussion and approval of funds for Water repair spare parts. 8.Roads - Council Member Smith a)Discussion and Decision on roads worker vacancy. 9.Planning and Zoning- Council Member John a)Pre-approval of Planning and Zoning Commission vacancy applicants to be presented to Planning and Zoning Commission for final approval. b)Discussion and decision on moving forward with zoning map passage and public hearing. c)Ben Johnston - Decision on funding to prepare easement and quiet title for Beus and Jensen Properties. 10.Parks and Recreation - Council Member Munns 11.Fire Department - Assistant Chief Tom Davis a)Discussion and decision about selling the old fire engine. 12.Sgt.
