- PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that Minersville Town Council will hold a public hearing on August 20, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at the Minersville Town Hall, at 60 West Main in Minersville Utah 84752 The purpose of this hearing is to discuss the hereby petition to Beaver County Commission to set up a county wide tax levy for law enforcement and collect enough tax revenue to pay for police protection within the County. It is presumed Beaver County will have to increase the tax rate approximately .00035 percent in order to collect sufficient tax revenue to pay for law enforcement within the County and the Minersville Town Council and Mayor will look into reducing the Minersville Town tax rate an equal amount at the same time. All concerned citizens are invited to attend the public hearing. Anyone with questions can contact the Minersville Town Clerk at 60 West Main in Minersville during regular business hours Monday - Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. 435-386-2242 Cherie C.
