- PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the City & County Building, 451 South State Street, Room 326, Salt Lake City, Utah. The purpose of the public hearing is to accept public comment on draft project area plans for the 9 Line and State Street Project Area creation process. In April 2016, the Board of Directors of the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City adopted resolutions authorizing survey boundaries to establish a Community Reinvestment Area ('CRA') for the proposed 9 Line and State Street project areas. Since the approval of these resolutions the RDA has conducted community outreach campaigns; coordinated with internal divisions and departments; contracted with Lewis Young Robertson & Burningham ('LYRB ') to complete public benefits analyses, and assembled a first draft of the project area plans. All persons interested and present will be given an opportunity to be heard in this matter. Written comments may also be submitted to the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City regarding the proposed CRA Plans prior to the date of the public hearing. Under Utah Code 17C-1-808, any person objecting to the proposed project area plan(s) or contesting the regularity of any of the proceedings to adopt the proposed project area plan(s) may appear before the board at the hearing to show cause why the proposed project area plan(s) should not be adopted. The proposed project area plans are available in the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City's offices. A copy of the boundary description(s) will be provided at no cost by contacting the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City, P.O. Box 145518, Salt Lake City, UT 84114-5518, by telephone at (801) 535-7240, or by accessing the Agency's website at www.slcrda.com. The City and County Building is an accessible facility.
