- NOTICE OF MAYOR VACANCY As specified in Utah Code 20A-1-510, the UINTAH CITY COUNCIL will fill the Mayor vacancy, by appointment, at the City Council Meeting; to be held in the City Hall, 2191 E. 6550 S., on TUESDAY, August 21st, 2018, at 7:00 pm. The appointee will be sworn in August 21st, 2018, and serve until January 1st, 2020. Any resident interested in being considered should contact the City Recorder at City Hall during business hours no later than 5:00 pm August 20th, 2018, to declare his/her interest in the position and sign the required declaration of candidacy form. The following requirements must be met: (1) Be a United States citizen at time of filing. (2) Be a resident of Uintah, Utah, for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months' immediately preceding appointment. (3) Be a registered voter in Uintah City. (4) Be at least 18 years of age. *The office is open between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday's. Uintah City Hall observes all State and Federal Holidays.
