This plan is for the portion of Highway 40 through the North Village area north of the current Heber City boundary. There is an existing corridor management plan between Wasatch County and UDOT. Due to the possible annexation of properties north of the existing Heber City boundary it was determined that Heber City should be a signatory to the agreement. There have been no changes to the language of the agreement. The intent of the agreement is for a limited access highway and to maintain current speeds as much as possible.
5. NOTICE is hereby given that the WASATCH COUNTY COUNCIL will consider a request from Kurt Krieg, on behalf of BLX Mayflower, LLC, to conduct a Public Hearing to request a motion supporting the process reviewing the Mayflower Mountain Resort project related to the Mining Influence Zone (MIZ), Tax Increment Financing/pre-qualified list, Project Area and density, which process, if properly advanced by the applicant in future meetings, could subsequently result in a JSPA Planning Commission recommendation and County Council approval or denial of the Mining Influence Zone density analysis and the overall density determination in association with the existing JSPA target density. The purpose of this request is for BLX Mayflower to get County participation and guidance on a density number prior to July 25, 2018 and the irrevocable donation of BLX Mayflower land within the Mayflower Mountain Resort project for a Military Recreation Facility (MRF), and prior to the applicant completing the binding process required by Wasatch Code. The Mayflower Mountain Resort project is located on the west side of Mayflower Mine Road, southwest of the U.S. Highway 40 Mayflower (State Route 319 - Exit 8) interchange in section 25 Township 2 South, Range 4 East in the JSPA (Jordanelle Specially Planned Area).
