CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER DUCHESNE COUNTY GREG TODD, Chairman PO Box 270, 734 North Center Street, Duchesne, Utah 84021 (435) 738-1100 REVOCATION OF ZONE 2 AND 4 EMERGENCY ORDERS OF EVACUATION Effective Immediately Pursuant to Utah Code Annotated §53-2A-205(4), Notice is hereby given of the revocation of Zone 2 and 4 Orders of Evacuation, more particularly described within the following boundary: Beginning at the Wasatch/Duchesne County Line and Highway 40, East along Highway 40 to the Sams Wash Road, South along the Sams Wash Road to the Strawberry River Road, West along the Strawberry River Road to the Lower Red Creek Road, Northwest along the Lower Red Creek Road to the Currant Creek River, West along the Currant Creek River to the Duchesne County Line North along this line to the point of beginning. This Revocation does not include Camelot, Strawberry Pinnacles, or Avintaquin Canyon. Lower Red Creek Road will remain closed to traffic at this time. The prior Orders of Evacuation for Zone 2 and 4 were properly issued in response to the aggressive wild fire specifically referenced as the Dollar Ridge Fire. Based upon the confirmation of the Incident Command Post (ICP) Management Team, including the Duchesne County Sherriff's Office, Utah Department of Natural Resources, Forestry, Fire and State Lands, and other state and federal fire officials, it has been determined that the Dollar Ridge Fire has been sufficiently contained in order to lift the Evacuation Areas listed above. Therefore, it has been determined that the prior Evacuation Order for these areas is no longer needed to protect life and property and that the public safety is assured with regards to that particular area. Accordingly, such prior orders related to this area described above are hereby REVOKED
