CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER DUCHESNE COUNTY GREG TODD, Chairman PO Box 270, 734 North Center Street, Duchesne, Utah 84021 (435) 738-1100 REVOCATION OF ZONE 3 EMERGENCY ORDER OF EVACUATION Effective Immediately Pursuant to Utah Code Annotated §53-2A-205(4), Notice is hereby given of the revocation of the Zone 3 Order of Evacuation, more particularly described within the following boundary: Beginning at the intersection of Sams Wash Road and Highway 40, heading East along Highway 40 to the Strawberry River Road, South and West along the Strawberry River Road to the Sams Wash Road, North along the Sams Wash Road to Highway 40. Including both sides of the Strawberry River Road and the Lake Canyon Road. The prior Order of Evacuation for Zone 3 was properly issued in response to the aggressive wild fire specifically referenced as the Dollar Ridge Fire. Based upon the confirmation of the Incident Command Post (ICP) Management Team, including the Duchesne County Sherriff's Office, Utah Department of Natural Resources, Forestry, Fire and State Lands, and other state and federal fire officials, it has been determined that the Dollar Ridge Fire has been sufficiently contained in order to lift the Zone 3 Evacuation Area listed above. Therefore, it has been determined that the prior Evacuation Order for Zone 3 is no longer needed to protect life and property and that the public safety is assured with regards to that particular area. Accordingly, such prior order related to Zone 3 is hereby REVOKED.
