NOTICE OF PETITION FOR LAYTON CITY/KAYSVILLE CITY BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT (Martz/Smith Property) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Layton City Council approved Resolution 18-37 to proceed with the adjustment of a City boundary line, in common with Kaysville City located at approximately 1230 East Pheasant View Drive. On Thursday, August 16, 2018, at 7:00 p.m., the City Council will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers of the Layton City Center, 437 N. Wasatch Drive, Layton, Utah, to review the annexation. The complete adjustment petition is available for inspection and copying at the Layton City Community and Economic Development Office, 437 North Wasatch Drive, Layton, Utah. The Layton City Council may grant the petition to adjust the City boundary unless written protest is filed with the Davis County Boundary Commission, 28 East State Street, Room 221, (P.O. Box 618), Farmington, Utah, 84025. A copy of the protest shall also be delivered to the Layton City Recorder, 437 North Wasatch Drive, Layton, Utah, 84041. The deadline for filing protest regarding this annexation petition is 5:00 p.m., August 6, 2018. A protest may be filed by the legislative body or governing body of an affected entity.
