NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. a public hearing will be held in Room 315, Council Chambers, City County Building, 451 South State, Salt Lake City, Utah, before the Salt Lake City Council to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance relating to Petition No. PLNPCM2017-00487. A proposed ordinance is before the Council to amend the zoning map pertaining to a parcel of property at approximately 1316 East Downington Avenue to rezone that parcel from Single Family residential District (R-1/7000) to Low Density Multi-Family District (RMF-30). The zoning change would allow the property owner to construct a three-unit townhome project on the site. There are currently two duplexes on the site that would be demolished. Although the applicant has requested that the property be rezoned to RMF-30 Low Density Multi-Family Residential District, consideration may be given to rezoning the property to another zoning district with similar characteristics (Petitioner: Downington Place, LLC). All persons interested and present will be given an opportunity to be heard in this matter. The City & County Building is an accessible facility. People with disabilities may make requests for reasonable accommodation, which may include alternate formats, interpreters, and other auxiliary aids and services. Please make requests at least two business days in advance. To make a request, please contact the City Council Office at council.comments@slcgov.com, 801-535-7600, or relay service 711.(P 18-15)
