- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING June 21, 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Layton City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Layton City Center, 437 North Wasatch Drive, Layton, Utah, regarding: 1) amendments to the budget for fiscal year 2017-2018; and 2) adoption of a budget for fiscal year 2018-2019, including the schedule of compensation for elected, statutory, and appointed officers; and setting a property tax levy equal to the Certified Tax Rate. Persons in attendance shall be given an opportunity to be heard regarding the amendments to the 2017-2018 budget, and the budget proposed for 2018-2019. Copies of the amendments to the 2017-2018 budget are on file and available to the public in the office of the City Recorder. The tentative budget for 2018-2019 is available on the Layton City website. The hearing will be held at the regularly scheduled Council meeting. Public comments are welcomed.
