AGENDA Mapleton City Council Meeting Wednesday, June 6, 2018 Regular Session at 7:00 p.m. Mapleton City Council Chambers, 125 West 400 North, Mapleton, Utah 84664 CALL TO ORDER-INVOCATION- PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE ---- MAYOR'S COMMENTS PUBLIC FORUM: Members of the audience may bring to the attention of the Mayor and Council any item that is not on the agenda. Please sign in. Speakers are generally given two to three minutes, at the discretion of the Mayor, to address the Council. State law prohibits the Council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda. The Mayor reserves the right to amend the order of the agenda items and to delete items no longer required for consideration. CEREMONIAL ITEM: Swearing in of new police officer- Trevor Thompson APPROVAL OF MINUTES: 1. Approval of City Council meeting minutes- May 2, 2018 PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS: 2. Consideration of an ordinance amending Mapleton City Code Chapters 2.24, 2.26, and 2.32 creating and amending public safety standards. Cory Branch, City Administrator 3. Consideration of an ordinance amending Mapleton City Code Section 18.84.395 regarding the lot standards for ranch lots in the A-2 zone. Sean Conroy, Community Development Director 4. Consideration of a Resolution to rezone of 13.5 acres of property located at approximately 200 South and 1600 West from General Commercial (GC- 1), Neighborhood Commercial (NC-1) and Residential Agricultural (RA-1) to Residential (R-2-B) with a Transferable Development Right Receiving Site (TDR-R) Overlay. Consideration of an ordinance modernizing, standardizing and defining permitted and conditional uses in the Central Commercial (CC-1), General Commercial (GC-1), and Industrial and Manufacturing (I&M-1) zones.
