- NOTICE PUBLIC HEARINGS The Morgan City Council will hold public hearings on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Room of the City Office located at 90 West Young Street. The public hearings are regarding the following items: - Adoption of Tentative Budget for the 2018 - 2019 Fiscal Year Budgets; - Opening and making adjustments to the 2017 - 2018 Fiscal Year Budgets; - Final adoption of the 2018 - 2019 Fiscal Year Budgets; - Adoption of the 2018 tax rates and property tax revenue budget amounts; - Adoption of any proposed changes to the compensation schedule for all elected and statutory officers of Morgan City; and - Rate increases for utilities that will be implemented.
