Town Of Portage Council Meeting Wednesday May 23, 2018 25880 N 9000 W 6:00 PM Agenda Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of Portage will hold its regular Town Council meeting on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the Portage Town Hall located at 25880 N 9000 W, which meeting shall begin promptly at 6:00 PM. The Agenda shall be as follows: 6:00 PM Call to Order Opening Ceremony: 1.Review and Approval of minutes from April 11, 2018 Town Council Meeting. 2.Review and Approval of April 12, 2018 to May 23, 2018 Bills/Payroll. 3.Review Financial Report, Bank Reconciliations and Water adjustments or write-offs. 4.Review and Discuss FY 2017-2018 Budget. 5.Review and Discuss FY 2018-2019 Proposed Budget. 6.Discussion/decisions on Town tree maintenance/trimming. 7.Discuss and Fill the Town Council Vacancy. 8.Appoint new Mayor Pro-tem. Public Comment: This is an opportunity for the public to address the Council. Please limit your comments to three minutes. Review of Departments: 9.Water - Council Member Nelson a)Discussion and approval of funds for Water repair spare parts. b)Discuss and decisions about new water hook-up -Aaron Bues. 10.Roads - Council Member Smith a)Cemetery road discussion/decision on bids. b)Update on (8800 W ) Grant progress/decisions. c)Mowing Town side roads bids discussion/decisions. 11.Planning and Zoning- Council Member John a)Tyson Nelson - Building permit request approval. b)Brett Prisbrey - Building permit request approval. c)Discuss shed being used as living quarters. 12.Parks and Recreation - 13.Fire Department - Chief Robert Barrow a)Discussion and decision about selling the old fire engine. 14.Sgt.
