AGENDA SPECIAL SERVICE LIGHTING DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF OREM May 22, 2018 This meeting may be held electronically to allow a Councilmember to participate. CALL TO ORDER APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. MINUTES of Special Service Lighting District Meeting - April 17, 2018 SCHEDULED ITEMS 6:20 P.M. PUBLIC HEARING - Adoption of SSLD FY 2018-2019 Final Budget 2. RESOLUTION - Approve and Adopt Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Budget RECOMMENDATION: The Chief Executive Director recommends the SLSD Board hold a public hearing then by resolution adopt the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Budget. BACKGROUND: On April 17, 2018, the Board of Directors received the SSLD Tentative Budget for Fiscal Year 2018-2019. The purpose of this hearing is to receive input from the citizens, make any changes, approve, and adopt the Budget for Fiscal Year 2018-2019. This budget contains no change to the fees dedicated to street lighting. 3. ANNUAL REVIEW - Special Service Lighting District of the City of Orem (SSLD) Bylaws RECOMMENDATION: The Chief Executive Officer of the Special Service Lighting District of the City of Orem recommends that the Board of Directors adopt the bylaws as written. BACKGROUND: The SSLD Bylaws stipulate that the bylaws 'shall be reviewed by the Board of Directors at each annual meeting' and may be amended 'by majority vote of the Board of Directors of the District at a regular or special meeting.' The Chief Executive Officer is not recommending any changes to the bylaws at this time. ADJOURN TO A MEETING OF THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF OREM
