'PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers of the Weber Center, 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah, commencing at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, the 8th day of May, 2018. The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome - Commissioner Harvey B. Invocation - Moment of Silence C. Pledge of Allegiance - Joe Hadley D. Thought of the Day - Commissioner Gibson E. Presentation Presentation of the Seal of Service Award to Scott Storey. Presenter: Sean Wilkinson F. Consent Items 1. Request for approval of warrants #1425-1429 and #427898-218095 in the amount of $1,251,060.63. 2. Request for approval of purchase orders in the amount of $53,237.34. 3. Request for approval of the minutes for the meeting held on May 1, 2018. 4. Request for approval of ACH payment to US Bank in the amount of $136,799.10 for purchasing card transactions made through the billing cycle ending March 26. 2018. 5. Request for approval of ACH payment to US Bank in the amount of 182,433.30 for purchasing card transactions made through the billing cycle ending April 25, 2018. 6. Request for approval of new business licenses. 7. Request from the Human Resources Department for approval to surplus office equipment. 8. Request for consideration and/or action on a request for approval of a road dedication in the Circle N Subdivision, a three lot subdivision. 9. Request for approval of Change Order #6 on Staker Parsons Contract #5160049. 10. Request for approval of Change Order #6 on Meridian Engineers Contract #5170034. G. Action Items 1. Request from the Weber County RAMP Board for approval of EZ Grant recommendations. Presenter: Shelly Halacy 2. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Maurie Tarbox to be the Artistic Director for Annie Get Your Gun. Presenter: Kassi Bybee 3. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Cate Equipment Company for a Distributer Purchase. Presenter: Joe Hadley 4. Request for approval to ratify a contract by and between Weber County and Darren Bideaux RV Sales to hold and RV Show in conjunction with our Cinco De Mayo Festival. Presenter: Duncan Olsen 5. Request for approval to ratify a contract by and between Weber County and Utah Quarter Horse Racing Association to hold Flat Track Races in conjunction with our Cinco De Mayo Festival. Presenter: Duncan Olsen 6. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Napoli Shkoinik, Magleby Cataxinos & Greenwood and Dewsnup King Olsen & Worel Havas for litigation against the manufacturers and distributors of opioids. Presenter: Chris Crockett 7. Request for consideration and decision on a proposal to amend the certain sections of the Land Use Code to provide new open space requirements for cluster subdivisions, with special emphasis on agricultural encouragement, and to offer new or modified definitions and other clerical edits to other sections of code relate to new or modified definitions. Presenter: Charlie Ewert 8. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and LSI Business Development, Inc. to assist in intergenerational poverty efforts.
