Highland Arts Council Meeting April 11, 2018 - 6:00 p.m. Highland City Hall ~ 5400 W Civic Center Dr. ~ Highland, UT 84003 HIGHLAND ARTS COUNCIL MISSION STATEMENT: OUR PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE AND PROVIDE ENRICHMENT TO ALL THE ARTS FOR ALL AGES IN OUR COMMUNITY CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL: Shauna Larson (Chairman) - Kelly Gummow - KeriLynn Lenhart - Ellen Burns - Julie Tapusoa - Shauna Larson - Kathy Castleton - Aerin Burns - Linda Littlefield - Kurt Ostler (CC Rep) CHAIRMAN ISSUES: - Fundraising and Donations - Art Club and Classes - Grant Writing - Bank Statement and Projected Expenses - We are On Hold for Sponsorships - Plan to Clean up CC Outside - Prepare for Flower Planting PROJECT UPDATES: - Classes - Workshops - Fundraising - Art Club - Art Classes - Concerts - Plays and Theatre Workshop - Art Show Silent Auction - Upgrade Art Show - Pottery Demo and Artist Painting Display - Theatre Display in the CC - Plan to Raise Money for Bell Chime Choir - Plan to Add Concert and Regular Mics to Equipment Supply DISCUSSION ITEMS: 1. Kids Art Classes on Monday at 3 pm and Adult Classes at 10 am on Mondays 2. Fundraising Events and Advertising, Grants 3. Director Reports a. Kathy Castleton - Theatre b.
